Arriving August 2019: Amy Ellingson, M.D.

Dr. Amy Ellingson is a longtime local family practice physician who will be joining Three Rivers Family Medicine on August 26, 2019. She has been working in Chelan, Wash. since 2002 as an outpatient and inpatient family medicine doctor. Dr. Ellingson speaks Spanish fluently and specializes in disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy. She also practiced surgical obstetrics until 2015.

Dr. Ellingson is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN, and earned her Doctor of Medicine from Loyola University of Chicago. She completed her residency at the Montana Family Practice Residency Program.

Dr. Ellingson also serves as Medical Director of Touching Tiny Lives, created the Diabetes Smackdown series, and is creating an NCWLife television program called “Live It Up.”

Dr. Jonothan Miller

Jonothan Miller, MD is an orthopedic surgeon with over 25 years of medical experience. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He received his medical degree with honors from the University of Maryland and performed residencies in General Surgery, followed by a specialty in Orthopedic Surgery at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA.

Dr. Miller treats a full spectrum of surgical and non-operative orthopedics. Whether he is caring for a child’s broken bone, a worker’s strained body, or a senior looking to live a full and active life, Dr. Miller tailors an individual treatment plan to each and every patient. 

He specializes in the treatment of arthritis, arthroscopic surgery, and full joint replacement. In 2017 he joined Three Rivers Family Medicine in Brewster, WA and is certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Dr. Gordon Tagge

Gordon Tagge, MD is a general surgeon and the Chief of Surgery at Three Rivers Hospital in Brewster, WA, with over 30 years of medical experience. He is certified as a general surgeon by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Tagge graduated with his medical degree from the University of Texas in Houston and performed his residency at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City.

Dr. Tagge was a clinical instructor at the University of Washington. He practiced general surgery in Fort Collins, CO and Wenatchee, WA before beginning his general surgery private practice in 2002. Dr. Tagge is knowledgeable in variety of surgical techniques, but specializes in procedures such as biopsies, hernia repair, abdominal surgery, gallbladder surgery and laparoscopic surgeries. He is also well versed in removing skin cancer and thyroid masses.

Surgical Capabilities: Biopsies, hernia repair, abdominal surgery, gallbladder removal, laparoscopic surgeries, removal of skin cancer and thyroid masses, colonoscopies, and upper and lower GI endoscopy.

Dr. Ty Witt

Dr. Ty Witt is a gynecologist with over 30 years of experience in women’s health. Throughout his career Dr. Witt has delivered more than 4,000 babies, but for the past eight years he has focused mostly on gynecology. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology

Dr. Witt has extensive surgical expertise and stays up-to-date on the newest, most minimally invasive procedures to help women heal with less pain and recovery time. He specializes in women’s health issues, including bone health, hormonal issues, heavy bleeding, urinary incontinence, and infertility.

He is originally from the Pacific Northwest, and has run private practices in Arizona and Oregon. He studied at UCLA Medical School and completed his residency at Oregon Health & Science University

Surgical Capabilities:  Hysteroscopy, hysteroscopic ablations, laparoscopy for pelvic pain, masses and cysts, repair of pelvic and vaginal relaxation, laparoscopic assisted and abdominal hysterectomies, infertility, EPCT, IUI, HSG, IUD, LEEP, core biopsy, vaginal rejuvenation with posterior colporrhaphy and labioplasty.
